Accessing the Internet with a Smart Phone
I have a Droid Razr with service from Verizon. I have basic (cheapest) internet access. I find I usually run out of alotted time before the month is over. Usually after about two weeks. Ocassionally, I access the internet at places that have "free Wi-Fi", such as the King County Library, Starbucks, etc. Does use of free wi-fi add to by access bill from Verizon, or is it really free? Thanks.

It is really free. As you are connected to Wifi, you data goes over the Wifi connection and not through the cell towers. If you have low wifi signal, cellular data may be used to make up for that.
