Smash Your Food

Postby patrickmarshall on Sat Mar 24, 2012 9:48 am

is it okay to trick your kids into learning? If you think so, and I agree, you might want to download Smash Your Food, a new app for iPhones, iPods and iPads. The user selects a food – a donut, a can of Coke, etc. – guesses at the amount of sugar, salt and fat in it, then pulls the lever and sees a high definition video of the food being crushed. Afterwards, the exact values are shown. The free version includes only for foods. If you want to check out more foods you'll need to download the $2.99 version at the iTunes store. The application also includes dietary tips for parents.
