babylon search
What the heck is it with babylon search anyway? I'd never heard of it until a few days ago, when it I clicked new tab in either IE8 of Firefox 10.x. It insinuates itself no matter what I do. Web searches revealed numerous rants about it.
I've tried a few of the removal methods suggested on those searches. Most were either old, inaccurate or wrong and didn't fix anything. Last night I did an Eset online scan/removal. It found some files and removed them ( or maybe did ). I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled. I still get that junk on FF and IE. It looks like its a load of crapware that Firefox brought on board.
I found a bunch of babylon files and got rid of them. Now at least I come up with a blank page withthe new tab. I guessing that there are some registry settings that might solve that. I'm not dumb enough to poke around in the registry without exact guidence.
I sure would appreciate any suggestions.
