Jambox is deceptively addictive
AT&T sent a Jambox for me to try and to be honest I wasn't sold on the concept. Big deal. A portable Bluetooth speaker.
But when first paired the thing to my iPod I was mightily impressed with its sound. The small -- approximately 6x2x1.5" -- device kicks out up to 85 decibels of sound without noticeable distortion. And soon I found myself just connecting the iPod to it while doing things around the house. If I was situating myself more than about 33 feet from the speaker, all I'd have to do is pick it up and bring it with me. The Jambox will run for about 10 hours before needing another charge. Of course, you can also just leave it plugged in.

So is it worth the $199.99 price tag? Maybe not, if that's all it could do. But what if the thing also had a microphone and could also work as a speakerphone? It worked like a gem with my Droid 2. And it delivered decidedly better sound than the built-in Droid speaker. And to make things more convenient, the Jambox can pair to two Bluetooth devices at once.
