Yesterday I re-installed my Wondows 7 operating system. All went well. I then re-instaled my MS office Enterprise 2007 edition. All went fine there too. So I thought. Today I turned on the computer and clicked on the outlook icon and got a error message that roughly stated "this program not meant for this operating system. Try reinstalling. I also might add that I received a windows message that there was errors and needed to run chkdsk which I did. I used the repair utility but still got the error message. I tried to use the uninstall program in windows to remove office but it just hung there. I then used revo unintaller and removed it that way. I attempted to reinstall office and got the following error message:Se Error 1935: Error ocurred during installation of assembly component. {837BF1EB-D770-94EB-A01F-C8B39A1E18E}v Set up failed rolling back changes. This process alone is still going on and will probably end up using task manager to stop it. Help please. I have no idea what to do.

Part 2: I used the MS Mr. Fixit and removed office 2007. I attempted to reinstall and got the same error message. Woud system restore being me back prior to receiving the error messages?
Part 3: I used system restore which brought me back to the date of installation, I then re-installed the operating system and was then able to re-install office enterprise 2007. No more error messages.

Did you do a "clean" install of Windows 7? That is, did you format the drive at the beginning of the installation process? That's what I would do. You might have other junk on the drive that is causing your problems.
