Several years ago, I was an active amateur photographer. I took pictures and developed film, including color transparencies, and made prints from them. At the time that digital photography became popular, I dropped my interest in photography. Today, does anyone still take pictures with silver halide film, or is it all digital? Is it possible to still get silver halide film (Tri-x, Kodacolor, etc.)? Is my enlarger (Omega B22XL) useable in a digital world?

In a word, YES! Film is still very much available, although prices are higher, and some films, Kodachrome, for one, have been discontinued. I still work with film, and in fact, I prefer it, and I still own a darkroom.

Yep there is still plenty of film getting burned... I still use a Nikon FM2 (all manual) for very long exposure shots.
