This was clearly the worst performance in sounders history. To get beat by a team in its first year by 3 goals is simply beyond embarrassing and exceptable. This has got to be one of the softest teams in mls history. How many more times are we going to see the paceless backline of this team get beat over and over, from hurtado to burch , to scott and gonzalez. They are one of the same, plain and simple garbage! What is the use for this team to make the playoffs if they even do this year. They will pull the same thing they have for years. Plays gutless, spineless, soft soccer and lay down and die after they get scored on. Meredith is clearly not a mls a golie and by a long long margin. How marshmallow man keeps sending him out there without trying weber is beyond me. He hasn't stoped on single shot at goal in 7 games. Get a clue siggi, meredith can't get the job done. He is horrid! Take him out of the lineup period ! Our front office continues to lie to us year after year much like the mariners. They didn't go out and get one single talented defender. Sivabeck saw 15 minutes of play the first game of the year and hasn't even been heard of anymore. Is he even on the team any longer ? johonson fits right along with all sweed defenders as we have seen in eruo 2012. Here is a guy who couldn't even break the national team as bad as they are defending. He lacks pace and doesn't have a clue how to defend in shape or form. The johnson for neagle trade was just a travisty. How do you trade a young speedy forward for an older use to be speedy forward that has pretty much given up on soccer and his team in this point in his career. Evans is the most overrated player in the mls by a long shot. He plays horribly every game and still continues to be fed into the starting lineup.
