No question about it. We lost it in that first leg and mainly due to poor coaching choices. Too bad Sigi's contract was just recently extended for a few more years.

It was a big hole to dig out of. We almost did it though. Rosales should have started and/or had more playing time.

Rosales didn't want to even play. They had to talk him into play 10-15. Sigi had to do what he did in the second game. He blew the first game, but it is hard to say that the line-up wasn't what was forced on him in the second one. Leo was out, Burch suspended, Evans played well with Alonso, Zak was on fire. I honestly think we would have tied it up if it wasn't for the PK.

one forward in the first game dug us into a hole that was too much for any team to climb out of. the fact that we almost did shows how poor his lineup choices were in the first game. add that to the fact that after every game he blames the loss on the ref, and i am getting a little tired of his coaching, especially in the playoffs. two years in a row down 3-0 after leg 1? seriously? i would not be sad to see him go.
