Do I have to say anymore? I mean Rosales was ruled out for a crucial second leg and Martinez, who only made three regular season appearances since joining in August, stepped in on his first start and made the most of it by scoring an absolute beauty. That's what he's done throughout his entire career and he couldn't have picked a better time to get his first for the rave green. I hope this kid stays in Seattle for a couple more years.

I can only imagine what would have happened if Sigi did not keep him on the bench so long. I hope he will be in every match from now in.

I doubt he'll be in every match from now on, but we will see a lot more of him for sure. I think the reason we didn't see much of him during the regular season is because it took a while for him to settle in with the team because he's been away on international duty for Honduras.

Well, I know he's been away a lot, but he also spent enough time on the Sounders bench to get frustrated by not getting enough play time here. He must now feel pretty vindicated. And deservedly so.
