Looking For Working Student Position
Hello- I currently have some ground work experience with horses (ie blanketing, leading, grooming) but not much. I muck stalls/feed/clean waters at a rescue in Woodinville, but I'd really like to ride. I've been around horses a ton I just haven't gotten to ride as much as I'd like to. I'm looking for a working student job at a barn hopefully in the Auburn/Kent/Renton area, I'd be able to commute to those areas more then Redmond/Woodinville. I'm willing to do anything and am enthusiastic about it. It kills me that every weekend I get to work with these wonderful animals but I don't get to hop on and learn to ride! I am 17 and in high school, and I live near the Seatac airport. I have my license, but not my own car (share between the parents) so occasionally I could have an issue with transportation.
Any advice helps, I just really would love to ride

Too bad you're so far south. My daughter's trainer in Stanwood is looking for someone but she needs Tues-Friday mornings and Saturdays.

That sucks!!! I'm slowly learning where I live isn't very convenient if I want to ride.
