There had been a total of 215 horses on the ranch. The owner was described as having a "soft heart". :?:

Another hording situation gone bad for the hoarder. I hate this sort of thing those people need mental help for the anxieties they have and the addictions to hording. This sort of thing comes from people who are OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) it takes counseling and meds to help them not court and fines. yes the animals need to be removed for the safety of the animal but not as punishment to the person. you can bet the guy kept every thing even receipts for 30 yrs or more I feel for the person but also understand from a personal standpoint. my husband is OCD he has gotten help and continues to get help if not I would have killed him or divorced him years ago. I am his rock and throw the broken stuff away person, he has gotten better over time but he still wrestles with throwing things out or giving them away but he can now.
