A big fat no on this since 90 percent of soy products are from gmo crops and gmo's have been proven to cause cancer, liver damage, kidney damage and reproductive damage in rats and humans. Why the heck would I want to feed this stuff to my horse? I don't want to feed it to me let alone my animals.Soy products also raise the estrogen levels in humans causing premature menstrual cycles in girls and man breasts in boys plus increases the risk of cancer in women and men. It may help horses short term but what about 10 yrs down the road? Are those horses going to have problems? The study was short only 6 months long that is not long enough to see the real effects of long term use.

When we first got Sully our vet recommended adding a small (1/4) cup of corn oil to his grain because he was so thin and had no energy. Now that he is healthy we don't do that any more but it did help get him on track and improved his coat however we were careful to use only corn oil.
