Technical troubles

Postby Joan Deutsch on Sat Jan 12, 2013 11:13 pm

I couldn't log in to the forum yesterday. I apologize if anyone else had trouble! The tech folks have been trying to find solutions and I believe there may be an upgrade soon that should make everything run smoother.

Horsepeople, Are you using Internet Explorer by chance. There seems to be the most difficulty using that.

I agree -- I find the pop ups annoying and don't look at them either. Unfortunately, I see them on a lot of other sites, too. Our forum boss mentioned that there tends to be more problems for folks who don't allow cookies. He said adjusting your browser setting to allow cookies may cut down on the technical problems.

I haven't been able to log on for days with Safari. If anyone else had problems, what browser were you using?

i was using IE and had trouble logging in quite often. In January, after several weeks, I gave in and downloaded Mozilla and haven't had any problems since then.
