Re: Photos du jour
Urban, Great to hear from you! I've wondered what you were up to. Perhaps you saw my post about having lunch at Rhodes River Ranch. I hope you keep us up to date and let us know about the place. How long does it take you to get there? I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your companion horse. But Mooch sure looks cute.

It was great to see so many riders starting out the New Year at Lord Hill today! I hope we hear from them -- about their trail ride and where they went.

The horses didn't like it when I brought the tractor in to clean...

So they went to the pasture to play...

The SO followed them, took some amazing photos, downloaded these three, then made the mistake of reformatting the card in the camera. These aren't even the best photos

The parks dept. just installed the railings on the Beaver Lake culvert in Lord Hill Park. Previously there was a narrow bridge that several horses slipped off of and got trapped in the stream where there are huge logs. This is a great improvement!

I met 2 groups of riders on the trail today. The woman on the left was ponying a handsome Friesian.

I met this adventuresome rider on the trails this morning. It was so cold in the freezing fog that she walked the last leg of her journey to help warm up.

I am so EXCITED to be teaching Horseback Yoga at Double S Quarter Horses in Bow, WA
at Horse Harmonics ~ Alchemy of Attunement!

Yoga and horsemanship complement one another perfectly, as yoga gives us a means to connect more deeply, efficiently and effectively with our equine partners, and horses invite us to tune into our senses and demand that we are present in each moment.
