We made it to the Smokey Point Wal-Mart just as they were getting ready to unhitch. In my opinion, watching that process was far more interesting than watching them trot around the parking lot would have been. It was fun watching them just stand there loose next to their hitch buddy with the lead ropes looped through their halters while their coolers were put on. Such good boys!
4HMom, Wish we could have been there. I wondered if they take the 2 alternate horses with them to the appearance just in case. Did you notice 2 extras? Or perhaps they stay in the truck? John Fink told us that sometimes they each walk three to five of them at one by connecting their leads, so you know they must be well-behaved! He said it can be a pain to walk five at once if the guy at the end of the string walks too fast because he'll pass up the front and swing everyone around.

If they were there, they must have stayed in the trailer.
I can just imagine the chaos. It's hard enough at our house leading 2 regular size horses at a time some days, especially when they both decide to go in opposite directions:)

The Clydesdales are staying one more day to appear on Sunday, Dec. 2 at the Puyallup Walmart since they got rained out there this week. Apparently they'll put up a tent for them there:
Sunday, Dec. 2, 1 to 3 p.m. Walmart, 310 31st Ave SE, Puyallup
