Kriss, did you get the indoor plumbing in?
We actually got the gutters on the horse barn this year! Happy Dance! The downspouts are not up yet but just having gutters has made a huge difference!

We DID! Indoor toilet, shower and sink! We lived without indoor plumbing for so long (granted, I am only there about 12 days each month, but still...) I find myself still heading for the outhouse I'm pretty well over this whole process though, and I will be very glad when we are done and I can get back to spending time with the horses. I sent Ricky to NM so I could focus more on the greenies, and I haven't touched any of them since he left.

And, I am not ready for winter, the early sunsets are already getting to me, and I want my warm weather back!

we got some things done too a few more trees where removed in the process to clear the fence line, the chicken coop is done, we have enough hay to last til june or july, the back porch got covered so if need be we can now strip off we clothes and muddy shoes before coming in the house, also makes for being able to lock the dogs out and they have a dry place to hang. pigs are gone to the butcher. got wood chips for the garden and compost areas. I have more storage now yippy!

Turners, Good timing on your new gutters. They must be getting a good workout. When will you put up downspouts?

You guys have been busy! Nice to have an area to take off muddy clothes. We could use a bigger mud room. Wish I had a better place for cleaning off the dogs.

yes hubby has been busy figuring out ways to store extra stuff and keep it dry and out of the way. he has built 3 cabinets for in the house. now need him to do the same thing for the barn's and garage.
hoping to get more fencing up next year. but with looking outside today I am wondering if I am truly ready or not.
