The Snohomish Conservation District (SCD) http://www.snohomishcd.org is conducting a management trial that could alleviate the conditions of allergies, scratches and heaves. They are looking for participants now through January. Please contact Alan Shank at alan@snohomishcd.org or 425-335-5634 ext 120. All SCD services are free. The practice involves using a different kind of bedding in their stall.

Wish my daughter's Tb mare was kept in the stall. She'd be perfect for this study but is 24/7 on pasture and has had scratches on and off (mostly on) most of her life.
