Pony, rider rescued from pile of chicken manure
I guess this is a good reminder to not ride through mounds of manure?

I assumed it was going to be a kid doing something silly... I was surprised it was a 20 year old... Maybe she didn't see the massive pile of chicken poo?

Re: Pony, rider rescued from pile of chicken manure
chicken poo has a ton of bad bacteria in it. the pony will probably show signs of being sick from it after a few days. I have seen what it does to dogs who get stuck in chicken poo and it isn't good. even with an immediate bath it burned the hair off the dog plus the dog came down with an infection shortly after. when chicken poo is composting and in large piles or pits it gets a thick hard crust on it but not thick enough to walk on. underneath it is very soft and almost soupy.
