Heck, why is it the smokers who have just
quit, are the ones who get on their high horse
about smoking?
Of course smoking is bad. But now it's
huge penalties for smoking? So wrong.
One person said that they usually die
younger and that would save health
money! I know, not funny.

I have to agree, Lynn. Let's go after all the fat people instead! There sure is a LOAD of them in this country with diabetes, COPD and countless other issues attributed to fat, fat, fat! Far fewer smokers than lardos by far! Let's not forget all that extra money the inusrance companies got for themselves over this. They are the important ones on this issue.

Being overweight myself, I went to the
doctor yesterday, and no big problems.
I am thankful for that. I am not an over-
eater, so that should be an item to take
care of, if you are obese.
But trying to think, do obese people have
to go to the doctor more often or are so
unhealthy, besides their weight?
Kind of treading where others shouldn't
tread, to have a penalty for obesity.

Lynn, healthcare should not be one or another. It should not be that an unexpected illness or injury financially ruins anyone. Picking on smokers while the majority of the country is obece is not fair. I have not met one overweight person who admits to overeating or one smoker that is proud of the addiction.

Now that ObamaCare has been passed and we get to know what's in it, some Unions don't like what they see. Their insurance costs are going up and they what a subsidy from the tax payer. Too funny
Be careful what you wish for, you just may get it.

Some unions are saying that if they don't get the subsidies, they may have to drop their current coverage and dump there workers into govt exchanges.

Some say or I have heard? Is that what gives you evidence? This nation's healthcare is shameless compared to the rest of the world and is supported only by profit. Yes, Obama care gives in to the profit driven insurance companies. Why is that again? How did that happen? It sure as Hell wasn't because the right helped this nation in the cause! They made it what it is now! Take responsibility with the rest of us!!!

And the fact is the regulations for O-care are still being written. In the modern era there is no "equal protection under the law".
Federal laws are molded and shaped by the bureaucracy to fit the voting constituency. Its also a form of "evolutionary" law....but who cares ?
Insurance companies , HMO's, Unions, AMA, AARP, ???? buy them off with a subsidy !
Isn't tyranny fun ? The King and his thug parliment deliver a mandate and the injured parties get to beg for mercy. LOL......the house of cards cannot last.
