Nice Mel! You apparently know so much more. Please tell us about the other 60+ shooters in the last few years or the ones every single month lately! People continue to die. This time is was a classroom of innocent babes. When is enough going to be enough? When it's your family perhaps?

Watched the next video too . Very good.
Who need's assault weapons? They didn't
mention it, but I'm curious.
And why did his mother have guns and
having him shooting them, I presume at
a range. I've heard someone say they
thought she was "bonding" with him. It
seems she was a good woman with a son
that needed more professional help. She
dedicated her life to him, so said.
And who knows if professional help would
really help him. So many thoughts go through
your mind.
More safety at the schools. It's a start.

Gun stores report brisk business after Conn. massacre
Although national firearms sales and data on FBI background checks are not immediately available for the days before and after the second-largest school shooting in U.S. history, there is evidence that firearms sales are moving at a brisk pace.
Some gun dealers in Oregon, Virginia and Texas said Monday that stocks of handguns and shotguns were selling quickly.
"Our sales are astronomical,'' said Karl Durkheimer, owner of Northwest Armory in Portland, Ore. "We have customers coming in who are very worried for their personal safety. There is no question that sales are related'' to Friday's shooting, which left 28 dead including the 20-year-old shooter and his mother, and last week's deadly shooting at a Portland-area shopping mall.

What should be the strategy of the NRA?
"To Have A Right To Protect Yourself, Your Family And Your Property - Including Protecting Your Neighbors. And Never Give Up Your Right To Do So".

From Another Thread:
"I will accept no law that leaves Homeland Security more armed than myself, on the grounds that I have better accuracy with an assault rifle than them, and I wouldn't trust them in a time of foreign invasion more than myself. They'd be prone to letting the guns vanish like they did in 2010.
Our government is too incompetent to be trusted in a case of homeland war, whether it be invasive or civil. It's my responsibility as an American citizen to protect myself, my country, and my constitution.
This war has just begun."

If that was their only strategy, that would be great.
I will accept no law that leaves Homeland Security more armed than myself... I wouldn't trust them in a time of foreign invasion more than myself. What war has just begun? I love how this guy talks about being able to protect his country, but then reveals it's not about protecting from foreigners, it's only about protecting himself from some government coming for him with their guns - he's ready to kill his government. And that war has just begun. Revealing, right?

Yes, very revealing! He'd rather our children die as they have been! Even the NRA is disagreeing! Fanatics like him have blood on their hands.....all those babies blood and more!

Re: I Am Enraged and Saddened
No one, so far, has an answer on how to
stop this outrage of killings. I don't know
if there's an answer, at least not just one
answer.
If this isn't frustrating, I don't know what is!

Obama Sidelines Gun Control
You think the Democrats are anxious to charge once more into the gun control lists? Think again. Byron York reports that President Obama has sidelined any move toward new gun legislation, at least for the time being, with Washington’s hoariest delay tactic:
With President Obama’s announcement of a commission to study and recommend ways to reduce gun violence, the two most important Democrats in government — Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid — have both indicated a desire to slow the momentum toward gun control in the wake of the Newtown, Connecticut school shootings. The president’s decision to appoint a blue-ribbon panel — the classic Washington ploy to defuse and delay consideration of an issue — along with Reid’s inaction on the gun question will undoubtedly frustrate many in their party who want immediate action.
The commission is supposed to report in January, and Obama vows that it won’t be “something where folks are going to be studying the issue for six months and publishing a report that gets read and then pushed aside.” Like, say, Simpson-Bowles. But the effect of Obama’s action is obvious:
