Re: Maylan prediction
I guess the only reason I have not believing it's not going to happen is the lack of reason for it it happen. Sounds like a good reason not to believe in something.

Re: Maylan prediction
For those of us who are a tiny but older, remember 1969? California was going to fall in the ocean on a certain day in April. Thousands of people fled California in fear. I grew up with bomb shelters, etc, Guess what? We are still here.
Yes, someday, the world as we know it, could possibly end. But of the day and the hour, no man knows.

"But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare."
The Mayans had nothing on St Peter.

Re: Mayan prediction
Okay, it's the Mayans prophecy...that sounds better.
Mark 13:32.....But of that day and hour knows no man,
no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son,
by my father only"
I am quoting someone who wrote this on another
program.
And what's this that they are selling bomb shelters
again. If the world ends, what good is it?
If it is almost destroyed, who wants to come out of
a bomb shelter to that?
What's to be will be....

Re: Maylan prediction
No one corrected me on my spelling of Mayan....
I finally caught it on the other page...duh!
I read somewhere that this person wondered if
the fellow who wrote the prophecies died before
finishing them...thought it was funny....but he did
say last day......oh well, been nice.
