Gosh I hope Dec.21st isn't the end of
the world!
I have an appt. that day, and I don't
want to miss it.

We just as well get a laugh once in
awhile!
But I read where the people were
actually flipping out they were so
worried about it. Think it was China
or thereabouts.
Many many years ago, I remember
the men who had long beards, preaching
on the corner downtown about the end
of the world coming.
What scared me was their long beards!

Don't worry about it. The reason it ends this year is because they ran out of room.

You know it isn't actually a prediction, right?

Think of it like Y2K. We had so much electronic systems that kept time, but only went up to a certain point. After 99, they reached as high as the system was designed to count.
The same thing is true with the Mayan Calendar. When they designed it, they had it able to keep track for a long time. But, just like any calendar we have, it reaches it's end. That end happens to be this year. It's not a prediction of the end of the world, any more than people who design calendars or software programs predict the end of the world each December or in 2000.

Re: Maylan prediction
I've read and listened to pro's and con's
on the calendar .
What i like to believe is that the world will
change by being more spiritual...now how
could that happen, I don't know, but nobody does
anyhow.
I haven't had a good answer how the Maylans
disappeared....
