That would be cool, but even the 2nd Amendment doesn't allow for owning a tank.

Re: Watch what happens when Guns are banned in Australia
Listening to Dave Ross this morning. He loves to frame the issues in terms that make his position sound so right and simple, without having anyone to point out the fallacies.
His comment regarding guns today was ............. "It's really simple ......... are we better off with more guns or fewer guns?"
Well I guess I somewhat agree with him if I can change it a little. We would all be better off if there were NO guns at all.
Now addressing the MORE or LESS guns issue, I would have loved to ask this question. Let's just say there were 1 million guns in the world today (OK, I know there are far more than that, but this is a hypothetical). Let's say that through more gun controls you are seeking to reduce that number to 500,000 guns. Where do you honestly believe the bulk of those 500,000 guns that are removed going to come from? What type of person that might have had a gun when there were 1,000,000 guns out there will now not have a gun when there are only 500,000 out there?

For one thing, you better believe there would be an increase in crime, if ONLY for the fact that guns would become more valuable due to a more limited supply and thefts targeting guns in particular would become more common.

I totally believe in the right to own guns. I totally believe that no one needs an M16 or an AK47, or a Uzi or anything like that, Why on earth would anyone need one except for the sole purpose of killing.

No one in WA legally owns an M16 or any other fully automatic weapon. Other states have other laws, that being said to legally own/buy/transfer a fully automatic weapon in the USA, requires a federal license. If you're talking about AR15s and other semi-automatic weapons, many are used for hunting, and sport shooting.

This is the way I think about it and I think statistically it is correct.
Hypothetically speaking if it were possible to actually remove guns completely from citizens you're removing a really good criminal defense tool esp. away from women; We remove guns in reality only the criminals will have guns, presently speaking and now that gun ownership is increasing if someone decides to pull out a gun on someone they themselves are risking getting shot and killed, so it'd be like a suicide-mission.
