Speed limit on hwy 202

Postby reformedfred on Fri Oct 14, 2011 5:41 am

OMG! can King County dig deep into its pockets and possibly look to see if they have an extra 3 or 4 "Speed Limit 55 MPH" signs that they could spare for HWY 202 in between Redmond and Fall City? Do you know how many times a week we sit behind motorists that think 40 is the limit?!?! All the while a string of cars a mile long piles up behind them? I was behind a Redmond police crusier the other day, 40 mph, for 7 miles! If drivers went 15 mph under the speed limit on the freeway they'd be ticketed in no time!

Wouldn't that be nice! And while they are at it, maybe they could post a few more "Keep right except to pass" signs on the freeway.

Personally, I'd love to see a sign east of the 520 bridge that reads "The Speed Limit Was 50 On The Bridge. But You're Not On The Bridge Anymore. You Can Go 60 Now. Really." On second thought, they'd have to space them out thusly....

THE LIMIT WAS 50
OVER THE LAKE
BUT NOW IT IS 60
FOR GOODNESS SAKE
BURMA-SHAVE

:D
